The Cast
Captain Ahab
Captain Abraham Lincoln Rodrigo Ahab has been a freedom fighter almost since birth. He earned a reputation for his bravado early in his career by aiding a small group of
insurgents with an attack upon a Zone Mexico City installation on the border of Zone Denver. When the group's leadership was compromised (with fragmentation debris through the brainpan), Abraham assumed the command and led the militants to a happy victory, resulting in the facility's utter destruction. This would have otherwise been an insignificant feat had it not been for the young fighter's age at the time of the victory - he was just fourteen. Older and much wiser at a veritable geriatric dotage of twenty-three, he has led no less than forty sorties into dangerous regions.

Mark "Thumper" Vindol
Mark Vindol is legend. He was trained by five-time world champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist long-distance shooter, Sal Shepp. Mark was a Scout Sniper from the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit duringThe Final War. He has been carrying it to the enemy ever since his unit was wiped out. He is 100% dedicated to the cause and will stop eliminating robots only when they have killed him. He has outlived a wife and two little boys, victims of Zone Denver's extermination agenda. Their memory fuels his vengence. Referred to lovingly as "old man", Mark is a strapping forty-eight human years old.
Inira "The Huntress" Gadarn
Inira Gadarn is as deadly as she is beautiful. The collapse of society has been most unkind to the females of our species. Inira learned early on that she can rely on no one but herself to survive in the hostile world she came of age in. She is a self-taught deadeye with a compound bow. This skill combined with a natural talent for explosives has propelled her into a legendary status among freedom fighters around the globe. She does not always play well with others, but she is professional enough to get the job done in an expedient manner. She has a brother that survived the changing times up until he was captured inside Zone Denver. She is absolutely conviced that he yet lives. If it wasn't for Mark Vindol's convincing argument against such foolish actions, Inira would probably throw her life away looking for her brother within the hellish zone.
The End All (Chopper)
This hijacked XAU-07, somewhat affectionately referred to as Chopper, is an exterminator unit of the first order. This is the most advanced exterminator bot before the more advanced (and virtually hack-proof) takeover security systems were devised by the godlike, gearhead creators. XNU-07 is a destructive force. The crack team of programmers responsible for reprogramming Chopper saw to it that he has a witty personality to match his tactical prowess - he is replete with over 5,000 rather macabre one-liners including the timeless, albeit seemingly meaningless phrase "I'll be back!" This sentient intelligence is everything anyone would ever want in a combat robot but were afraid to ask for.
Ghost
If there be a princess of junkrats, it would be Mei. She has honed her survival skills at the most rigorous of all schools - the school of hard knocks. She is an absolute closed book; most people do not even know that she is a she. Her gymnastic abilities are unsurpassed as is her aptitude for picking locks, scrounging, rummaging, pilfering, filching, and otherwise going unnoticed. The old cliche about sneeking up on a cat is not lost when describing Mei's subterfuge.
George "Cal" Callahan
George Armstrong Callahan (Doc) is a brilliant field surgeon. Also, he is no slouch with a rifle. He has been under Captain Ahab's command almost as long as Captain Ahab has had a command. They seem to keep trading off saving one another's life. G. A. Callahan was terribly disfigured in a phosphorus incident, but that has not slowed him down one Iota. If annihilating robots and patching up his commrades is Doc's work, Chemistry and biotechnology are his play; he is convinced that the robotic plague has a scientific solution. He is the undisputed brains of this outfit.
Janvier "Falcon" Starr
Pilot, mechanic, hacker, Janvier Starr has devoted his entire adult life to the military. He was wounded terribly when his chopper went down during the Battle of Tallgrass Ridge, one of the last and costliest fights of the Final War. He has made a miraculous recovery. Up until about six months ago, Starr was being utilized to train a new generation of pilots. It is rumored that he requested duty that would take him back into the line of fire. He is sometimes awkward socially possibly due to his injuries. Although, some say he has always been more comfortable around machines than people.
Elvis "Shrapnel" McGahee
Strong silent type? Not on your life. This riotous personality is as disruptive out of combat as he is during combat. Elvis "Shrapnel" McGahee loves two things more than anything, a good fight and a good joke. If you find a bug in your beans, most likely it was Elvis who put it there. But when the shit hits the fan, putting rounds down range takes on new meaning with this guy behind the heavy armament. He is the only person in the unit that can lift XAU-07 off the ground (no more than a centimeter or so), or the only one who would want to.
